The Tower

The Tower is the first building in the major arcana. In the French tarot decks it is called maison dieu, or the God House. Interpretations of the image include the runin of the House of Life, the fall of Adam, and the downfall of the mind seeking to penetrate the mystery of God.

Divinatory indications include radical egoism in action, a spirit imprisoned in matter, pride, a salutary crisis, and a beneficial outcome from someone else's error.
