The Magician

The Magician is card of the creative intellect. It shows the Magician with the four tools he may use to manifest his will: the sword of intellect, the rod of inspiration, the cup of emotion and the pentacle of practicality. Its focus is the creative potential of will and it aligns with the planet Mercury. Reversed it can mean a stubborn or headstrong person.

On a personal note . . . what animal represents fruitfulness and creativity better than a rabbit? This image popped into my head (complete with the phrenologist's skull) after a remark was made online during chat one night!
